DISHWASHER PROBLEMS

CONSTANT/LOUD SOUNDS

Repairmen have years of experience in troubleshooting and fixing dishwasher issues that can lead to strange sounds to come out of the appliance. The source of the sounds is typically either a broken pump housing, washer arm bearing or motor bushing. Because these are common malfunctions, you can be sure we will be able to repair them ASAP!

LEAKING WATER

There are one of two reasons a dishwasher will leak water. One reason is there’s an issue with the door latch or closure and it will need to be replaced. The other issue is a failed water inlet valve that must be repaired right after our arrival to your home. We have all of the manufacturer replacement parts to repair Whirlpool, GE, Kenmore and common brands of dishwashers.

WON’T TURN ON

If a dishwasher does not turn on, you be sure the dishwasher is plugged in and none of the circuit breakers. If that’s not the issue, then the issue might be the door latch switches, thermal fuses, electronic controls or motor relays.

WON’T DRAIN OR FILL

A dishwasher should fill with water and then drain water after cleaning the dishes. Your dishwasher will not fill when there’s a broken door latch or float switch or a broken water inlet valve. A dishwasher doesn’t drain when there’s a broken drain hose or pump motor on the unit.

WON’T WASH DISHES

A dishwasher isn’t much use if dishes are still dirty after a cycle. The dishes could still be dirty if there is a broken housing gasket, filter or water tube or spray arm. We have manufacturer parts to fix dishwasher issues in no time.

DOESN’T DRY DISHES

The purpose of a dishwasher is for the appliance to both wash and dry dishes. You do not want to have to hand dry dishes and silverware after a cycle. Your dishwasher won’t dry if there’s a broken heating element, rinse aid dispenser or thermostat. We are able to repair or replace all parts for the drying functions of all models of dishwashers.

WON’T DISPENSE DETERGENT

In order for a dishwasher to wash dishes, it needs to be able to dispense soap or detergent in the appliance. This will not occur if there is a broken bi-metal release, timer or wax motor.
